Cicily has been writing a weekly column in Springfield, Massachusetts's daily newspaper, The Republican, since 2005. It appears on Wednesdays, and is reprinted on masslive.com and elsewhere. Her column helps raise awareness of the programs offered by the YMCA, and offers a forum for discussion of the challenges facing Springfield's citizens. She frequently profiles members of the YMCA community: program participants, group leaders, coaches, board members, and volunteers. Each feature is accompanied by one of her photographs.
